Установлено, что штаммы Enterococcus faecalis обладают активной биоплёнкообразующей способностью. В связи с этим пациентам с заболеваниями, вызванными энтерококками, назначаются антибиотики в больших дозировках, поэтому актуальной является разработка препаратов с антибиоплёнкоразрушающей активностью. Цель исследования — оценить влияние низина на параметры роста клинических штаммов E. faecalis, изолированных из ротовой полости. Материал и методы. Изучали 15 клинических штаммов E. faecalis в присутствии низина; оценивали длительность фазы адаптации, скорость роста и площадь под кривой. Результаты. Низин обладает бактерицидной способностью в отношении штаммов энтерококков, однако этот лантибиотик не оказывает полноценного антибактериального действия на биоплёнку изучаемых штаммов, поэтому ведётся поиск дополнительных компонентов с биоплёнкоразрушающей способностью и создание комбинированных препаратов, повышающих клиническую эффективность бактериоцинов в стоматологии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Background. Enterococcus faecalis strains have been found to possess active biofilm-forming ability. Therefore, patients with diseases caused by Enterococcus faecalis are prescribed antibiotics in high doses, making the development of drugs with antibiofilm activity urgent. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of nisin on the growth parameters of clinical strains of Enterococcus faecalis isolated from the oral cavity. Material and methods. Fifteen clinical strains of E. faecalis in the presence of nisin were studied; the duration of the adaptation phase, growth rate, and area under the curve were evaluated. Results. Nisin shows bactericidal activity against Enterococcus strains, however, the lantibiotic does not have a full antibacterial effect on the biofilm of the studied strains.
