Обнаружено значительное уменьшение концентрации сперматозоидов и клеток сперматогенеза в гомогенате семенников экспериментальных животных. Выявлено накопление продуктов пероксидации, а также существенное снижение уровня неферментативных антиоксидантов, угнетение активности ферментов антиоксидантной защиты и обмена глутатиона. Выявленные сдвиги могут вносить существенный вклад в развитие субфертильных состояний при отравлении ксенобиотиками.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The effects of polychlorinated biphenyls on the reproductive system were studied on adult male rats. The results of the experiments showed that the polychlorinated biphenyls significantly decreased the number of the spermatogenesis cells and spermatozoa in the testicular tissue. In addition, increased peroxidation and failure of non-enzymatic and enzymatic antioxidants were observed.
