<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review presents the main directions of antibiotic therapy associated with rational pharmacotherapy of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in pediatric practice. As a serious pediatric problem, UTIs are often prone to recurrence, as well as may lead to the formation of more severe forms of urinary system diseases. Antibiotic therapy, timely and adequate in terms of etiological factors, drug and dosage choice, route of administration, as well as patient’s age, allows to avoid further progression of the disease, as well as development of disability in patients.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>инфекции мочевыводящих путей у детей</kwd><kwd>антибактериальная терапия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>urinary tract infections in children</kwd><kwd>antibiotic therapy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Shaikh N., Morone N.E., Bost J.E., Farrell M.H.
